Wisma Atlet Hospital Sees Dropping Number of Covid-19 Patients

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe number of Covid-19 patients treated at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta keeps dropping. Since Wednesday, May 27, as many as 88 patients have been discharged.

“The number of patients decreases by 88 from 851 to 763 today (Thursday),” Brig. Gen. Suhardi of the Military's Joint-defense Command for Area I, said in a written statement on Thursday, May 28.

Suhardi added that 77 out of the released patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease.

The number of patients treated at the hospital has also declined by 85 to 790 people from yesterday’s 885. The hospital has now treated 763 positive patients.

In addition, there are no longer people under monitoring (ODP) at the hospital, while the number of patients under monitoring (PDP) increased by 5 to 27 from Wednesday’s 22 patients.

Suhardi mentioned that from March 23 until May 28, 2020, the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital has treated 4,016 people. Of which, 120 patients were referred to other hospitals, 2,128 patients have been cured and discharged, and 3 patients succumbed to the illness.
