Pertamina Says Fuel Consumption Down during Eid

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State oil company Pertamina (Persero) noted that the distribution of gasoline for the three days of Eid was 18 percent lower than the previous months. This is the first time that Eid fuel consumption falls below normal days'.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Pertamina's gasoline consumption during the Lebaran (Eid) period always increased.

On average, gasoline from May 23 to 25 amounted to 77,140 kiloliters. In January and February 2020, the average was 93,557 kiloliters.

Pertamina Vice President Corporate Communication Fajriyah Usman said that the company's task force continues to monitor fuel and gas supply until June 8, to ensure there is enough stock.

"If anyone needs information about Pertamina's products or delivery service, please contact Pertamina Call Center 135 at the line number 135," he said on Wednesday, May 27.
