TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Traffic in Jakarta remains quiet on the first day of work after Eid al-Fitr holidays on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, reported the Traffic Management Center (TMC) of the Jakarta Police via its official Twitter account @TMCPoldaMetro. The large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) policy is also still effective in the capital.
Traffic was relatively empty around the Semanggi 1 toll gate, the Perintis traffic light in North Jakarta, the inner-city toll road, and the Senayan toll gate at 05:30 a.m. till 07:08 a.m.
Traffic also flew without a hitch on the Cawang inner-city toll road heading to Semanggi, the exit ramp of the Rawamangun turnpike, the Sarinah traffic light in Central Jakarta, the traffic light of Kebon Baru in North Jakarta, the National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta, the Joglo ring road, and the Halim Baru toll road in East Jakarta. No gridlock was reported today from elsewhere on Jakarta’s streets.
TMC Polda Metro Jaya also announced today the odd-even policy would be suspended until June 4, 2020, in line with the enforcement of the PSBB in the capital.
