Jakarta COVID-19 Update: 1,648 Recoveries, 6,628 Positives

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe number of COVID-19 positive patients in Jakarta has continued to climb. According to corona.jakarta.go.id, the number of positive patients in the capital has reached 6,628 up till Monday morning, May 25, 2020.

The website showed there were 57 more positive cases added to the 6,561 cases recorded on Sunday, May 24, 2020.

The number or recovered patients rose by 54 from Sunday’s 1,594 to 1,648 today, while death toll rose by 1 today from yesterday’s 505 to 506.

The website also reveals a total of 1,792 people are awaiting testing, 2,044 positive patients are under treatment, and 2,430 people are self-isolating.

The number of PDP (patients under surveillance), meanwhile, reaches 8,553 patients: 658 are receiving treatment and 7,895 have been discharged. The number of ODP (people under monitoring) hits 26,498 patients: 329 are under monitoring while the rest have returned home.

The latest national data showed 22,271 people have tested positive for COVID-19, with 1,372 deaths and 5,402 recoveries.
