80 Children Under Five Years Old in Jakarta Contract COVID-19

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta COVID-19 task force has revealed through its official wesbsite, corona.jakarta.go.id, that 80 children under the age of five in the capital have contracted COVID-19. The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Jakarta up to May 24, 2020, meanwhile, has touched 6,561.
The 80 children comprise 44 males and 32 females, while 343 other positive cases include children between 6-19 years old consisting of 169 males and 174 females.
The website also shows 418 children under the age of five in the capital have been categorized as ODP (people under monitoring): 238 males and 180 females.
A total of 185 children under fife years old, comprising 108 females and 87 males, are also among the 8,553 PDP (patients under surveillance) in Jakarta.
From the total 6,561 COVID-19 positive patients in Jakarta, 2,031 of them undergo treatment, 2,031 self-isolate, 1,591 recovered, and 505 passed away.
