TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto issued a Minister of Health Decree No. HK.01.07/MENKES/328/2020 (Decree), which provides guideline on preventing Covid-19 transmission at offices and for industry sectors.
One of the provisions in the Ministerial Decree is the division of work shifts for people working in the field. The decree stated that shift that starts in the evening to last until morning (Shift 3) should be removed if possible.
"For workers of Shift 3, please manage that the worker is less than 50-years old," the Decree stated as quoted from a press release of the Ministry of Health dated Saturday, May 24, 2020.
In the Decree, Terawan instructed companies to determine essential workers that need to work at the office and workers that can do their tasks from home. Terawan also instructed that office main entrances should be equipped with thermogun to measure workers' body temperature.
"Before going to work, apply Covid-19 Risk Self Assessment to make sure that the worker is not infected with Covid-19," the Decree stated.
