Indonesia Sees 689 New Covid-19 Cases, Highest Daily Rise So Far

TEMPO.CO, JakartaIndonesia reported the highest daily rise in Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, as the national Covid-19 mitigation task force recorded a total of 689 new confirmed cases.

Jakarta saw the biggest one-day rise in the positive case at 183, followed by East Java Province at 103 cases.

With the highest spike, as many as 15,438 Indonesians infected with the new coronavirus as of May 13. Of the number, 3,287 patients have recovered, and 1,028 patients died. 

The following is the map of the spread of Covid-19 positive cases across Indonesia:

  1. Aceh: zero new cases, 17 cases in total 
  2. Bali: 4 new cases, 332 cases in total
  3. Banten: 21 new cases, 580 cases in total
  4. Bangka Belitung: 0 new cases, 29 cases in total
  5. Bengkulu: 0 new cases, 40 cases in total
  6. Yogyakarta: 12 new cases, 181 cases in total
  7. Jakarta: 183 new cases, 5.554 cases in total
  8. Jambi: 0 new cases, 65 cases in total
  9. West Java: 7 new cases, 1.556 cases in total
  10. Central Java: 34 new cases, 1.023 cases in total
  11. East Java: 103 new cases, 1.772 cases in total
  12. West Kalimantan: 6 new cases, 129 cases in total
  13. East Kalimantan: 2 new cases, 230 cases in total
  14. Central Kalimantan: 16 new cases, 220 cases in total
  15. South Kalimantan: 14 new cases, 291 cases in total
  16. North Kalimantan: 6 new cases, 138 cases in total
  17. Riau Island: 5 new cases, 111 cases in total
  18. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB): 5 new cases, 344 cases in total
  19. South Sumatra: 43 new cases, 322 cases in total
  20. West Sumatra: 20 new cases, 339 cases in total
  21. North Sulawesi: 8 new cases, 82 cases in total
  22. North Sumatra: 2 new cases, 200 cases in total
  23. Southeast Sulawesi: 91 new cases, 167 cases in total
  24. South Sulawesi: 55 new cases, 803 cases in total
  25. Central Sulawesi: 6 new cases, 101 cases in total
  26. Lampung: 0 new cases, 66 cases in total
  27. Riau: 7 new cases, 88 cases in total
  28. North Maluku: 24 new cases, 78 cases in total
  29. Maluku: 0 new cases, 50 cases in total
  30. West Papua: 0 new cases, 70 cases in total
  31. Papua: 6 new cases, 328 cases in total
  32. West Sulawesi: 6 new cases, 73 cases in total
  33. East Nusa Tenggara (NTT): 3 new case, 19 cases in total
