TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Central Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) is set to crack down on Large Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) violators starting on Wednesday, May 13, as based on the governor regulation Pergub 41/2020.
"Effectively starting tomorrow, but we’ll start slowly,” said the Satpol PP Chief of Public Servant Investigators, Gatra Pratama Putra, as quoted from Antara, on Tuesday, May 12.
The authorities have prepared written warning letters, orange vests for PSBB violators to do social work, as well as seals to close businesses found in violation of social restriction rules.
The Satpol PP is currently waiting for a circular to be published by Jakarta Regional Secretary Saefullah related to the Administrative Fines Notice (SKDA) geared to facilitate payment of PSBB fines to a specified bank account.
“From our side, we have completed the preparations. All that's left is to coordinate, then wait for a letter from the Regional Secretary related to the SKDA tomorrow, then we will be able to commence," said Gatra.
