DPR to Discuss Mineral, Coal Mining or Minerba Bill Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The House of Representatives (DPR) was set to hold further discussion on the drafts of the mineral and coal mining or Minerba bill to amend Law No. 4/2009 in a plenary meeting today, May 12.
On Monday, May 11, the DPR Commission VII and the government agreed to conduct further talks or decision making on the bill.
Based on the invitation issued on Monday, the plenary meeting will commence at 2 p.m. at Nusantara Building, Jakarta. One of the meeting’s agenda is a decision making on the bill on amendment of Law No. 4/2009.
In addition, the legislators will discuss the government’s plans on the macroeconomic projection and draft fiscal policy (KEM-PPKF) which is part of the 2021 state budget draft and the decision making on the policy of state finance and stability of the financial system to mitigate Covid-19.
The plenary meeting will also discuss opinions of the House factions regarding the bill proposed by Commission VIII on the amendment of Law No. 24/2007 on disaster mitigation which will be continued with the proposal of the bill.
The country’s ideology Pancasila will be discussed as well during today’s plenary meeting. The last agenda will be the closing speech of the DPR speaker for the completion of the third session of 2019-2020.
