Pre-Employment Card Participants to Get Rp600,000 a Month

28 April 2020 13:01 WIB

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Executive Director for the Execution Management of the Pre-Employment Card Program, Denni Purbasari, revealed that participants of the program will receive a monthly incentive of Rp600,000.

"Especially for the first training, (participants) can claim incentives after the completion of the training, the amount is Rp600,000 per month," Denni said in a press conference broadcasted live on the National Disaster Mitigation Agency’s (BNPB) Youtube account, on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

The incentives will be given over the course of four months and will be transferred to the program participant’s bank account or e-wallet, under the condition that the participants have completed their training.

The incentives, said Denni, can be utilized to purchase any needs, as part of the Pre-Employment Card Program’s semi social assistance. “(Participants) can buy rice, pay for electricity, buy credit. That is called semi social assistance."

In total, participants in the Pre-Employment Card Program will receive Rp3,550,000. Of that amount, Rp1 million will be dedicated to a training program of the participant’s choosing.

More specifically, participants can choose an array of training packages from a total of 2,000 programs facilitated by 223 training institutions, distributed across eight digital platforms.

In addition, Denni reminded that the Rp1 million facilitated to the participant’s training program will remain valid only until December 31, 2020. “Choose the one most appropriate for your needs, and with the most competitive prizes,” Denni added.
