Update on Patients in the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 emergency hospital in Jakarta reported that it is treating 561 inpatients as of Thursday morning, April 16, 2020. The number includes those who have been tested positive for coronavirus. 

"As of Thursday morning, the number of inpatients is 561 people consisting of 323 male patients and 238 female patients," said Joint Defense Area Command (Kogabwilhan) I commander Rear Adm. Yudo Margono in a press release on Tuesday, April 16, 2020. 

Yudo also said 409 of them are patients who have been tested positive for COVID-19 with 125 categorized as patients under monitoring (PDP) and 27 people under monitoring (ODP).

From March 23 to April 16, 2020, the total number of patients who have been released from the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 reached 323 people with 67 of them referred to other hospitals, 240 in self-isolation, and three people died.
