Besides, the number of people under monitoring (ODP) amounted to 2,446, while patients under monitoring (PDP) stood at 2,997 people.
In early April 2020, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted the case fatality rate (CFR) due to COVID-19 in the metropolitan reached 10 percent, two times higher than the global’s CFR.
“The case fatality rate is 10 percent. That number is double the global average of 4.4 percent. This is very alarming,” said Anies, adding that a variety of containment measures have been taken to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Recently, Jakarta enforced large-scale social restrictions policy or PSBB.
