Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Sees 26 New Positive Cases

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of people who tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, treated at Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital increases. The hospital in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta got an addition of 26 positive patients.
As per Wednesday, April 8, the hospital is treating 527 people, including those who are still suspects.
"The number of in-patients increased by 12 to 527 people," said TNP Vice Admiral Yudo Margono, commander of the Integrated Joint Task Command at Wisma Atlet Hospital, Wednesday.
Yudo said that of the 527 patients, 318 have tested positive for the virus, 150 are suspects in treatment or PDP, and 59 are people under observation (ODP).
Most of the patients at Wisma Atlet were referred to by hospitals—private and state-owned.
Seventy-three of the patients are from the Jami Mosque cluster in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, who caught the virus from three people during a tablig akbar event on March 26.
As per April 8, Indonesia has 2,956 confirmed cases of Covid-19, of which 1,552 are in Jakarta.
