Jakarta's Coronavirus Mortality Rate Exceed National Level

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Through the official government website, corona.jakarta.go.id, the administration on Wednesday recorded the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the city has reached 1,443 cases with 141 deaths that make its mortality rate to 10 percent.
Out of the 1,443 cases, 69 people (5 percent) have recovered with 895 people currently treated in hospitals while 338 people are in self-isolation.
Around 2,254 Jakartans are patients under monitoring or PDP with 1,035 under health agency monitoring while the rest has been cleared.
Moreover, 2,598 people are under monitoring or ODP - which are people that have yet shown symptoms but are linked to positive coronavirus cases - with 544 of them still under monitoring.
On the national scale, confirmed coronavirus cases have reached 2,738 cases with 204 recoveries and 221 deaths. In terms of statistics, this data shows that Jakarta’s coronavirus mortality rate is higher compared to the national mortality rate.
