  • TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The total number of deceased patients due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta continues to increase, based on the official data from corona.jakarta.go.id, 37 deaths have been recorded up to Wednesday morning, March 25, 2020.

    The figure has increased compared to data from the previous day, March 25, where 32 deaths were recorded.

    In addition, the number of COVID-19 positive patients also experienced a surge from yesterday's data of 427 positive patients to 440 up to Wednesday morning, with a further 461 people waiting on COVID-19 examination results.

    The official data from corona.jakarta.go.id recorded 24 recovered patients, with 266 patients still being treated and 113 patients currently self isolating.

    Patients under Surveillance (PDP) in Jakarta since the beginning of the outbreak are now recorded to be 882 people, with 529 patients still being treated and 290 allowed to go home.

    On the other hand, People under Monitoring (ODP) in Jakarta since the beginning of the outbreak are now recorded to be 1,840 people, with 447 being monitored, and 1,383 having completed monitoring.

    Nationally, 686 COVID-19 positive patients were recorded. With death tolls reaching 55, 30 patients have now recovered while 601 other patients are still undergoing treatment.
