TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A plane from China arrived at Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Airport on Monday, March 23. The plane brought 12 tons of medical equipment needed for treating Covid-19 patients as well as containment efforts.
Upon the plane's arrival at Halim, officers immediately sprayed the aircraft with disinfectant, as well as its baggage and crew.
The medical logistics were handed over to the Defense Ministry, the TNI, and the Covid-19 Task Force. They will distribute them to hospitals treating Covid-19 cases.

Prabowo said he does not remember the exact number of protective gears and other medical equipment shipped. But said it would be distributed to all hospitals in Indonesia.
"We will announce the number to the media. The volume is around 12 tons. I do not remember the details, but it is quite plenty and will be distributed soon," Prabowo said.
