TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Governor Anies Baswedan said that the coronavirus transmission risk scenario is intended as internal government information upon mapping possible areas that could spread the disease. This comes after information leaked that the Bogor - Depok commuter line is under government monitoring.
“We have the data on the people who are under our monitoring, the coronavirus patients’ data who are under observation, it is from those data the map was formed,” said the Jakarta governor on Wednesday at City Hall.
Anies asserts that this COVID-19 transmission risk mapping acts as a reference for the government along with the transportation agency upon creating a mitigation plan. The previous data that spread among the public deems the Bogor - Depok - Jakarta Kota KRL commuter line as the highest risk to be a vehicle for contamination.
Anies Baswedan made it clear that the data does not imply that a case of coronavirus infection has happened aboard the commuter line. “This is not a case. But potential risks and transportation is one of the risk elements along with other aspects,” he said.
