TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President-director of the Persahabatan General Hospital (RSUP Persahabatan) Rita Rogayah said on Wednesday that she is unable to officially declare the recovery of Indonesia’s coronavirus patients, specifically Case 06 and Case 14.
“Those which we are observing right now are still under observation which is why we are unable to declare [their recovery] yet. But hopefully, we will be able to declare it soon,” said Rita at the Persahabatan General Hospital on Wednesday.
Furthermore, she said hospital management is waiting for the official test results from the Health Research and Development Agency (Balitbangkes) and assures that Case 06 and Case 14 would be able to return home once they are definitively deemed cured.
“We only need to wait for the results from the research and development agency,” said Rita. Based on follow-up tests which involve swab tests shows that Case 04 and Case 16 are improving.
Previously on Wednesday, Indonesia’s spokesman for the coronavirus (COVID-19) mitigation Achmad Yurianto said that there are two coronavirus patients who are showing signs of improvement and implied that the patients are Case 06 and Case 14 who passed the second set of tests.
“We are currently educating them ahead of their release from the hospital and urging them to practice self-isolation,” he said.
