TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian government announced eight more confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection today, March 10, bringing the total cases up to 27 in the country.
“Case 20 is a 70-year-old woman and Case 21 is a 47-year-old woman. Both are parts of the Jakarta sub-cluster,” said Achmad Yurianto as the government spokesman for the coronavirus outbreak mitigation at Presidential Office in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 10.
Yurianto added that Case 22 to Case 26 are imported cases as they had travel history aboard. He outlined that Case 22 is a 36-year-old woman; Case 23 is a 73-year-old woman; Case 24 is a 46-year-old man; Case 25 is a 53-year-old woman; Case 26 is a 46-year-old man.
“While Case 27 is a 33-year-old man. We suspect a local transmission for this one because we have not known the infection source as it is neither an imported case nor part of other clusters,” Yurianto explained.
