Coronavirus Update: RSPI Sulianti Saroso Reports on Development

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President-director of the Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital (RSPI Sulianti Saroso) Muhammad Syahril announced that there are nine patients in total currently under isolation with two who have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) and the remaining patients placed under strict monitoring.
Furthermore, Syahril explained that the additional two patients admitted to the RSPI Sulianti Saroso came on Wednesday, March 4. Both had been in direct contact with the two Depok residents who tested positive for COVID-19.
Moreover, the hospital has also sent home one foreign national after testing negative for the virus. Doctors also transferred one other patient from the isolation room to the hospital’s regular facility after also being tested negative.
“There were two patients admitted to the isolation room and two were released [from isolation],” said Syahril at the RSPI Sulianti Saroso in North Jakarta on Wednesday.
He further asserts that hospital management continues to provide its utmost services for patients who either test negative or positive for the COVID-19 or coronavirus disease.
