Three Floodgates Status in Jakarta on Alert 3

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Three floodgates in Jakarta, including the Manggarai sluice in South Jakarta, are still on high alert, based on data from Jakarta Water Resources Office (SDA) on Wednesday, 26 February, at 03:00 local time.
Data and Information Center of the Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) on Wednesday morning stated that the three sluices are Manggarai, Angke Hulu, and Pluit Reservoir.
The status of Manggarai sluice is Alert 3 with the water level at 770 centimeters, Angke Hulu water level at 235 cm, and Pluit Reservoir at 30 cm.
The other floodgates are on Alert 4 status, namely Katulampa with water level at 50 cm, Depok at 150 cm, Karet at 440 cm, Krukut Hulu at 30 cm, Pesanggrahan at 85 cm, Pasar Ikan at 164 cm, Cipinang Hulu at 80 cm, Sunter Hulu at 100 cm, and Pulo Gadung at 430 cm.
Jakarta and its surrounding area were hit by floods due to heavy rainfall since Monday night.
