TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo led a ceremonial event that marked the export of 10 double-decker buses manufactured by Karoseri Laksana to Bangladesh.
The event took place at the manufacturer’s factory in Semarang, Central Java, Friday, February 21, 2020. The buses measure 14.4 meters in length and 4.1 meters in height.
“What makes me feel so excited is that these [buses] are about to be exported. These buses, featuring a new design made by the nation’s children, have been exported to multiple countries, and these ones to Bangladesh,” he said.
Ganjar also said he felt content that presently business players, including the bus manufacturer, were utilizing the incentives from the government to export their products.
“I want to tell the President and the Finance Minister that we in Central Java are using the incentives from the government. We have felt the benefits, including on this one,” he said.
Ganjar also asserted the government would fully support all endeavors aimed at developing the business world, particularly the ones focusing on export.
