  • TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chairman Firli Bahuri said that he will not involve the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) in the manhunt for one of KPK’s most wanted suspects of corruption, Harun Masiku.

“There will be no [BIN involvement]. We have already worked with the National Police,” said Firli after attending the anti-corruption commitment ratification event at the Transportation Ministry in Central Jakarta today.

He also assured that KPK and police personnel continue to track down Harun Masiku’s whereabouts and claims to have obtained several leads that would help them find the PDIP legislative candidate.

“We will hunt him until we capture him,” the KPK Chairman assured.

Harun Masiku had been named suspect since January 8, 2020, but has yet been able to be arrested one month after his suspect naming.
