BNN Finds 107 Visitors of Golden Crown Tested Positive for Drug

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has conducted raids at night entertainment venues in Jakarta early Thursday, February 6.

At Golden Crown discotheque (night club) located in Mangga Besar of Central Jakarta, a total of 184 visitors were tested for illegal drugs.

“As many as 107 are tested positive for using drugs, 44 of them are female and the rest 63 are male,” said the agency’s eradication unit deputy Arman Depari when asked for confirmation Thursday, February 6.

Arman explained that the drugs used were crystal meth and ecstasy.

Other than Golden Crown, the BNN raided Venue Clubbing in Kemang, South Jakarta. “The total number of visitors is 105 people but only one person indicated positive of using drugs,” Arman added.

At present, Arman said that all people tested positive for the drugs were brought to the Jakarta BNN office for further examination and would undergo examinations by BNN.
