TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia - China consortium, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), is set to create 2,400 jobs opening ahead of the inaugural operations of the Jakarta - Bandung fast train in 2021.
“KCIC is offering the opportunity for people to be a part of the Jakarta-Bandung fast train family. Those accepted will be the first generation who are able to operate the train supporting facilities,” said KCIC human resources director Puspita Anggraeni in today’s official statement, Feb. 5.
Puspita said that KCIC will need 2,400 workers before its operations in 2021 and will be spread into a number of enrollments.
The company is searching for workers skilled in the field of transportation such as the signaling sector, technicians, steward, and stewardess, up to personnel for the Jakarta - Bandung fast train Operation Control Center (OCC).
