TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Health Ministry said that all Indonesian citizens who are undergoing the observation process for possible coronavirus infection in Natuna, Riau Islands are in good health. These people were repatriated from China to prevent them from catching the Wuhan pneumonia virus.
Anung Sugihantono, the ministry's director-general of disease prevention and control, said the 285 Indonesians who returned from China are in good health, and so are the people who picked them up.
Anung said on Tuesday that no one was detected to have a body temperature above 38 degrees Celsius. Noone also complained about feeling unwell.
The government continues to provide facilities and needs for the repatriates during the observation period, going so far as to provide musical instruments and psychological support services.
Anung also ensured that conditions in Natuna have returned to normal, with people going about their daily activities as usual.
"Children are going to school again after being told to stay at home yesterday," he said. "No shops are closed for fear of the disease spreading, everything is as usual--just as we hoped."
