TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Ministry has officially reorganized the board of directors of the state-run insurance firm PT Asuransi Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia or Asabri.
The reorganization was noted in the SOE Ministerial Decree No. SK-36/MBU/01/2020 on the dismissal, change of the position nomenclature, and appointment of Asabri board of directors. The ministry has sent the letter to the state insurer today, January 30.
Based on the decree, SOE Ministry discharged Herman Hidayat and Rony Hanityo Apriyanto from their position of the company’s board of directors respectfully. Both served the position since August 2, 2019.
In addition, SOE Minister Erick Thohir also remodeled the office nomenclature of the director of human resources and law, the director of finance, and the director of investment.
“SOE Ministry appoints Eko Setiawan as Human Resources and Law Director, Helmi Imam Satriyono as Finance Director, and Jeffry Haryadi P. Manullang as Investment Director,” said the ministry’s spokesman Ferry Andrianto in a written statement, Thursday, January 30.
Earlier, the ministry’s special staffer Arya Sinulingga said it was determined to improve the management of Asabri due to the insurer’s negative financial performance. Arya said this was carried out as a basic attempt to save the state company.
