TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputy chairman Nawawi Pomolango said his side has yet appointed an acting spokesman. Nawawi said the appointment will be made no longer than next week.
“At least on Monday [next week],” said Nawawi to Tempo on Thursday, December 26. He added that the anti-graft body leaders were still discussing names.
The appointment is made as the anti-graft body will hold the selection for the spokesperson post in January 2020, in line with the selection for other structural posts.
Earlier, the new KPK leaders decided to fill the post of spokesperson. Febri Diansyah thus far served a double position as the spokesman and the chief of the public relations bureau.
Febri announced on Thursday, December 26, that he resigned from his post as the spokesman. “I will focus and run the task as the chief of public relations bureau,” said Febri Diansyah at his office, Jakarta.
