TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has submitted the city budget plan worth Rp87.95 trillion to the City Legislative Council (DPRD) on Tuesday, December 3.
“The total budget plan in 2020 is Rp87.95 trillion,” said Anies during a plenary meeting today.
According to Anies, the figure is up by 1.22 percent from the 2019 city budget of Rp86.89 trillion and is in accordance with the 2020 General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) agreed by the city administration and the DPRD.
The governor outlined the regional income is targeted at Rp82.19 trillion, jumped by 9.60 percent from last year’s Rp74.99 trillion.
As for the city’s 2020 budget spending, it is set at Rp79.61 trillion or increased by 2.26 percent compared to the 2019 budget at Rp77.85 trillion.
Additionally, Jakarta is determined to optimize the tax revenue by implementing an online system and regional retributions. Anies said the measure is necessary considering the profit-sharing funds of last year worth Rp21.67 trillion had not yet been disbursed by the central government.
