TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Low-cost carrier Sriwijaya Air offered a free baggage allowance of up to 20 kilograms for flights during the 2019 Christmas and 2020 New Year holidays.
“We present the program of up to 15 kilograms for flights with ATR planes and 20 kilograms for jet plane flights. This is valid for all flight routes,” said the airliner’s spokesman Adi Willi Hanhari Haloho in a written statement today, November 21.
According to Willi, Sriwijaya passengers are currently only allowed to bring luggage weighing 15 kilograms at ATR planes or 20 kilograms at jet planes for free.
“With this program, passengers can use the excess free baggage allowance to bring presents for relatives in their hometown or vice versa to their domicile region,” Willi said.
