Google Assistant Now Able to Order Your Martabak Via GoJek

21 November 2019 12:35 WIB

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Google Assistant now offers a number of new features that are more thorough, secure, and user-friendly. Google Assistant Program & NBU Lead, Nimesh Ranjan, said that the new features put forth the concept of total assistance, secure, and can be used by a large number of people.

According to Rinjen, Google has developed the use of the Indonesian language which also includes those that are used on a daily basis. At Ciputra Artpreneur Theater in South Jakarta, Rinjen gave an example of users that are able to order ‘martabak’ via GoJek’s food delivery service GoFood and check balances from BCA Bank.

Just simply saying “Order martabak from GoJek,” will enable Google assistant to show up a list of martabak outlets nearby and can also track the order live.

Another subtle improvement in the assistant’s latest update is its privacy control feature that makes it easier for users to give simple commands. Rinjen also said that the data gathered by Google is secured as the internet giant handles data privacy very seriously.

Google Assistant can now be told via verbal commands to erase recent activities during a certain amount of time.
