KPK Schedules Questioning of Yamitema Laoly Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will question Yamitema T. Laoly as a witness in the alleged bribe incriminating Medan Mayor Tengku Dzulmi Eldin. Yamitema is the son of Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Laoly. 

KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said that today’s summons is a reschedule after the original letter of summoning on November 11 never made it to Yamitema.

“The reschedule will take place today that is concurred by the letter that was submitted before,” said Febri in a text message on Monday.

Yamitema will be questioned as a witness for the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) head of Medan, Isa Ansyari, who has been named as a suspect of possible graft. Other than this case, the KPK will also focus on other projects in Medan suspected of wrongdoing also.
