TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi welcomed his third grandchild who was born on Friday, November 15, 2019, at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Surakarta.
After his working visit to Lampung Province, the president immediately flew to the city to meet the second child of his first son Gibran Rakabuming and wife Selvi Ananda.
He was grateful for the smooth labor and delivery of the baby girl and that everyone was in good health.
"Alhamdulillah, yes, everyone is in good health," Joko Widodo said in a press release received by Tempo on late Friday, Nov. 15.
Gibran announced the name of his second child, La Lembah Manah. "Her name is La Lembah Manah. Lembah Manah means humble. As for La in the front is an acronym. [We'll] tell you later [about it]," he explained before the press.
La Lembah Manah was born at 15:46 through a c-section surgery.
Baby Lembah Manah makes 3 grandchildren for President Jokowi, including her older brother Jan Ethes Srinarendra, and their cousin Sedah Mirah Nasution or the first child of Widodo's daughter Putri Kahiyang Ayu and husband Bobby Nasution.
