Renowned Musician Djaduk Ferianto Passes Away

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The renowned Indonesian musician Djaduk Ferianto passed away at 02:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 13. Djaduk’s older brother Butet Kertaradjasa made the news through his Instagram account @masbutet today morning.
Posting a black picture that read "Sumangga Gusti", Butet wrote the photo caption, "RIP Djaduk Ferianto."
According to information obtained by Tempo, Djaduk would be laid in rest at the arts educational institution Padepokan Seni Bagong Kusudiardjo, Bantul, Yogyakarta at 14:00 p.m.
He would be buried in his family's funeral in Sembungan, Kasihan, Bantul.
The youngest son of artist Bagong Kusudiardjo was born in Yogyakarta, July 19, 1964. He was a multitalented artist as he was an actor, theater director, and musician.
Djaduk was a member of Kua Etnika music group and humor music Sinten Remen. He also played in the famous movie musical Petualangan Sherina (Sherina’s Adventure).
