Prabowo's Son Attends Father's Oath of Office at State Palace

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has officially sworn Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto as the country’s Minister of Defense today in the inauguration of “Indonesian Maju” Cabinet members.
The president took the oath of 33 other Cabinet State Ministers.
“I would be loyal to the 1945 Constitution and uphold the laws for the sake of the nation. I will uphold ethics and work wholeheartedly under full responsibility,” said Jokowi, as he read the oath that was repeated by Prabowo Subianto and other state ministers present at the State Palace today.
Prabowo, who has divorced with Titiek Soeharto, could be seen attending his inauguration with his only son Ragowo Hediprasetyo, also known as Didit Prabowo, who was visibly cheerful throughout the event.
Didit Prabowo could be seen smiling constantly while receiving congratulatory from people attending the event.
