TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - City bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta or Transjakarta is set to divert its routes following the planned students’ protest today, September 30.
Transjakarta Corporate spokesperson Nadia Diposanjoyo said the route diversion is established to anticipate traffic density. “So as to cater to the customers,” said Nadia in a written statement, Monday, September 30.
The bus routes affected are as follows:
- Corridor 9: Pinang Ranti - Pluit. The bus will not pass Senayan JCC and Slipi Petamburan bus stops due to road closure.
- Route 4A: TU Gas - Grogol. The service in Senayan JCC and Slipi Petamburan bus stops is not available.
- Route T11: Bundaran Senayan - Poris Plawad. Senayan JCC and Slipi Petamburan bus stops are closed.
- Route 1F: Bundaran Senayan - Palmerah Station and 1B: Tosari - Palmerah Station will be rerouted. The bus will not pass Senayan JCC, DPR 1, and DPR 2 bus stops.
- Route 3F: Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) - Kalideres. The service in Senayan JCC and Slipi Petamburan bus stops is not available due to road closure near the Parliament building.
According to Nadia, the route diversion will be revoked after the situation around the streets used for students’ demonstration returns to normal.
