TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sixth Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, also known as SBY, paid a visit to the country's third president Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (BJ Habibie) who is currently treated at the Jakarta Army Hospital Center (RSPAD).
“In his visit, SBY was accompanied by BJ Habibie’s son Ilham Habibie and Temmy Habibie, BJ Habibie’s younger brother,” said SBY’s personal staff Ossy Dermawan in a written statement.
According to Ossy, SBY’s brief 20-minute visit saw him spend time talking to Ilham and Temmy, where they also prayed for the improvement of Habibie’s health.
BJ Habibie is currently treated under intensive care at the hospital’s CICU Paviliun Kartika.
There is yet clear information regarding the actual illness that the third Indonesian president is currently enduring.
On August of 2018, BJ Habibie spent time being treated at the same hospital which was followed by news of his alleged heart valve leak in March of 2018. He was also treated once at a hospital in Germany due to declining health.
