AP II Builds 4-star Hotels in Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta Airport

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - State-run airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) is constructing two four-star hotels in Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The project is set for completion at the end of 2019 and will be operated gradually.
The corporate’s SVP of Corporate Secretary and Legal Deni Krisnowibowo in a written statement today, September 4, said the hotel opening is aimed at raising the airport’s competition and boosting the inorganic business revenue.
“And of course, to provide more facilities and services,” said Deni.
The two hotels are designated in International Terminal 3 and Domestic Terminal 3. The first project is in the international terminal, while the second one has entered MoU signing on construction service between the airport operator and Wika Bangunan Gedung.
According to him, the project has reached 70 percent completion and is targeted to finish at year’s end.
For 2019, AP II set a target to book Rp500 billion from inorganic business revenue from a total Rp11.4 trillion corporate revenue. The inorganic business includes hospitality and digital business. The firm also planned to have new business portfolios, such as in sectors of travel and ground handling.
