TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Administration has composed nine programs categorized under the 2020 General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) reaching Rp95.6 trillion.
The total budget has grown Rp6.9 trillion compared to Jakarta’s 2019 regional budget (APBD) of Rp89 trillion.
Head of the Regional Planning and Development Agency Sri Mahendra Satria announced in the Jakarta regional budget meeting on Wednesday, August 14, that the large budget will be used for school building total rehabilitations, health insurance, open-green spaces procurement, improving non-state run school teachers’ welfare.
“The following are the programs with the most budget used,” said Sri Mahendra in referring to the aforementioned programs.
He also announced that the budget will be used to fund the multiple constructions of city sidewalks and the land acquisition used for Jakarta’s MRT.
Jakarta Secretary Saefullah says the number is not final and is still being further discussed. “This is a plan, there will be following discussions which can change the final budget that is agreed,” said Saefullah following the meeting.
