TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of State-owned Enterprises (SOE) has responded to the issue about the arrest of Angkasa Pura II (AP II) finance director and several employees of PT INTI during the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) sting operation (OTT).

Last night, July 31, the anti-graft body arrested several officials and board of directors of the two state-run firms over alleged bribery related to an ongoing construction project run by PT INTI. One of the officials is AP II finance director Andra Y. Agussalam.
The ministry, Gatot added, demanded all activities adhere to the management of good corporate governance, and so companies are urged to provide good, unbiased information.
Besides, the ministry had requested the two firms’ management to resume and assure the operations run well as usual in order to give optimum service to the public.
“The ministry also upholds the principle of presumption of innocence. We are ready to cooperate with KPK in handling the case,” Gatot said.
