TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta’s air quality today on Thursday, August 1st, at 11:30 Western Indonesia Times (WIB) is the worst it has ever been in terms of air quality compared to other major countries in the world.
The air quality in Jakarta – according to AirVisual - this noon has hovered at 161 with PM2.5 parameters and 75.4 ug/m3 concentration based on the US Air Quality Index (AQI).
Compared to other major city’s air quality, Jakarta manages to top the list by taking the first spot from Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia.
Jakarta also beats Dhaka, Bangladesh; Hong Kong; Lahore, Pakistan; and also manages to beat Shenyang, China.
