Erick Thohir's Brother Boy Joins GoJek as Commissioner

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Garibaldi Thohir or Boy Thohir has joined GoJek Group's leadership rank as one of its commissioners. Go-Jek Group president Andre Soelistyo said he is proud to have Boy on board the company.
"As a business figure known for supporting national companies to advance internationally, Mr. Boy shares our vision to make Indonesia a competitor in the global arena," Andre said through a written statement Tempo received on Wednesday, July 24.
Boy Thohir, the CEO of coal producer Adaro Energy, said he is grateful for the trust given by Go-Jek to join its board of commissioners.
"I am honored and very motivated by Go-Jek. I have been following their journey from the start, and I can see that these young people are very smart and extraordinary in their dedication to find solutions that will help the people of Indonesia," he said.
Garibaldi, the older brother of Erick Thohir, said that as a businessman he wishes to share his business knowledge with hundreds of thousands of MSMEs that have joined Go-Jek.
