TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin’s legal team chief Yusril Ihza Mahendra will reportedly meet President Joko Widodo tonight, July 1, at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java.
“Yes, at 19:00,” Yusril confirmed.
He said that he and his team’s 33 members would visit the president-elect to extend silaturahmi [communal togetherness]. In addition to his team, campaign team head Erick Thohir, deputy head Arsul Sani, and representatives from the coalition parties would attend the session as well, Yusril added.
“Including Trimedya Pandjaitan and Arteria Dahlan from PDIP, Christina from Golkar, Hermawi Taslim from Nasdem, and Afriansyah Noor from PBB.”
According to him, the meeting is held to tighten the relationship, and his team intended to consult with the president in light of the Constitutional Court’s ruling on the 2019 presidential election dispute.
On Thursday, June 27, the court rejected all claims filed by the Prabowo-Sandiaga legal team, which confirmed the victory of the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin ticket.
