2019 Indonesia Open; 40 Percent Ticket Remains Available

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Badminton fans still have chances to grab tickets of Indonesia Open 2019. Besides via online, would-be spectators can purchase a ticket on the spot in Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
The organizing committee head Achmad Budiharto said that the ticket availability offered via on the spot was quite limited as most of the tickets sold online up to 60 percent.
The organizing committee would still open the ticket booth to give opportunities for spectators coming on the match day. “We appreciate those who come directly to the match. That shows their love for badminton,” said Achmad during a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 26.
Previously, the presale ticket via online had been sold out. The committee divided the ticket into three categories; Blue Class (VIP) starting at Rp100,000, Red Class starting at Rp50,000, and Black Class starting at Rp25,000. The total number of tickets offered are 5,000 pieces.
To date, Achmad mentioned 200 tickets of VIP and Red Class and 1,000 tickets of Black Class can be purchased in the booth. “And 1,000 tickets of Black Class for semifinal match are available as well,” he added.
In this year’s Indonesia Open to be held on July 16-21, Achmad continued, the organizing committee was overwhelmed in fulfilling ticket demands from state institutions and special guest because the President will likely attend and watch badminton matches.
