TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Election Commission (KPU) head Arief Budiman stated that he believes Constitutional Court (MK) will deliver its ruling on the presidential election dispute fairly.
“I believe in court. I believe MK will make a fair ruling,” said Arief in his office, Jakarta, Monday, June 24.
Arief explained his side had countered allegations conveyed by the Prabowo - Sandiaga campaign team and assessed the commission had done all the necessary things to explain various claims during the trials.
“I entrust the rest to the MK,” he remarked.

Arief went on to say that he and all election organizers must be prepared “to accept whatever the Court’s ruling".
Previously, MK announced it will deliver its ruling on the 2019 presidential election dispute on Thursday, June 27. “Yes, based on today’s meeting (RPH), the plenary trial on the ruling will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 12:30 WIB,” said the court spokesman Fajar Laksono when reached on Monday, June 24.
According to Fajar, there was no specific reason why the ruling set a day earlier, but MK is ready for the ruling delivery.
