TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Constitutional Court (MK) spokesman Fajar Laksono said that the final trial of the 2019 presidential election dispute trial that was scheduled to take place on Friday, June 28, could possibly be expedited. This, he added, depends on the justices.
“Is it possible to expedite the verdict? It is, if all (things) are considered to be completed and ready, the schedule is possible to be expedited before June 28, 2019,” said Fajar in MK building, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 24.
According to Fajar, agenda on public trials of election dispute had been established for a week since Friday, June 14, and had resulted in a number of facts, both from the plaintiff and the defendant.

Fajar mentioned that nine justices are currently conducting a meeting or RPH, discussing all facts based on the hearings and collected pieces of evidence. “The RPH agenda is held closely. Since today morning, the meeting is conducive. Besides justices, several employees who have been taken an oath present in the agenda,” he added.
Based on the regulation, MK is barred from releasing the meeting result without prior notification to related parties in at least three days. The related parties are Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno campaign team (BPN), Jokowi - Ma’ruf Amin campaign team (TKN), Election Commission (KPU), and Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu).
The statement will be displayed through MK official website regarding the schedule of verdict trial.
Fajar said that he yet to know when today’s meeting will finish considering it depends on the dynamic of discussion about trial facts by justices.
