TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Danareksa has officially acquired a 67 percent stake in PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara, a subsidiary of state-owned Telkom Indonesia. President director of Danareksa, Arief Budiman, said the acquisition was in line with the government plan to establish a holding company for banks and financial service institutions.
"Jalin contributes to the quality improvement of financial services infrastructure," Arief told Bisnis.com, Thursday, June 20.

"Telkom fully supports this corporate action. We hope that the implementation of digital banking and the national payment system will become easier and more accessible, and can accelerate the development of Indonesia's digital economy," Ririek said.
Jalin's main services is ATM-EDC switching, for which it holds a license as the principal and switching institution for the National Payment Gate (GPN) program.
