TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Finance Ministry is arranging a meeting with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), to follow up on the audit result of Garuda Indonesia's financial statement.
The ministry's secretary general Hadiyanto said the meeting aims to deliver their response to OJK's inquiry, as well as the ministry's Financial Professional Development Center (P2PK).
The P2PK will look at the audit result from the point of view of accountants and auditors, while the OJK will review it from the perspective of a publicly-listed company.
Some time ago, Hadiyanto suspected that Garuda's audit result was not fully in accordance with standard accounting procedures.
"But we could not immediately decide on sanctions," he said in Jakarta, Friday, June 14.
The Finance Ministry and the OJK are now coordinating to give their reviews. If violations are found, the people who audited Garuda's financial report could be given a number of sanctions.
