“There are many things that need to be prepared in terms of internet of things (IoT) with the 5G in Indonesia,” said Iskriono in a written statement on June 15.
He recalled that significant spectrum allocation needed to support it which basically means that the Indonesian government needs to provide 80-100 MHz continuous spectrum for each operator in the main band such as at 3.5 GHz and around the 1 GHz for operators in the band millimeter wave such as spectrums over 24 GHz.
