32 Thousand Register for Public LRT Jakarta Trial Run

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT LRT Jakarta communications manager Melisa Suciati announced thousands had registered online for the upcoming LRT Jakarta public trial run that would last for 11 days from Tuesday, June 11, to Friday, June 21.

“There are 32,000 people who have registered to be passengers in the test run up to June 21,” Melisa told Tempo at the LRT Jakarta depot today.

According to Melisa, the state-owned company will not limit the number of participants in the public test run that will start from Kelapa Gading to Velodrome. 

ReadAdministrative Issues; Jakarta LRT Launch Delayed Again

The company eyes on transporting 5,000 passengers and hopes that the test run will be sans any technical hiccup until the official inauguration.

Members of the public can register online by accessing bit.ly/UjiPublikLRTJ.

Here are the steps you need to take before submitting your data:

  1. Submit your personal identity via bit.ly/UjiPublikLRTJ
  2. Pick a scheduled run
  3. Submit the form and verify your email
  4. Download your digital ticket (e-ticket) for the LRT Jakarta trial run
  5. Show your e-ticket at LRT Jakarta station ticket booths where it would be exchanged with a single journey trip (SJT) ticket. Be present at the LRT station on the day you previously chose online.
